	2005 Recipient: Chrysalis Productions, Inc. is pleased to announce its first grant recipient Sharon Sopher for her poignant and inspiring autobiographical documentary HIV Goddesses: Stories of Courage--- Diary of a Filmmaker. The grant, in the amount of $1500, will be assisting Ms. Sopher in her quest to market the film via the film festival circuit and other venues. An Emmy award-winning and Oscar nominated filmmaker, Sopher has been battling AIDS for several years and is on a mission to communicate the often overlooked struggles of women with HIV/AIDS in America. HIV Goddesses is the first film in a three part trilogy on the subject and will be followed by The Ultimate Betrayal which will begin shooting later this year.
